This stop motion animation project was an experimental immersion in on-brand product styling and ad production. The video is an advertisement for the Glossier skincare serum trio, “The Super Pack”. Props and choreographed movements were used to convey important features of each serum in a simply and memorably. The colors, props, and post-production typography and music choice were all created with Glossier’s brand in mind.

Although thousands of photos were taken during this project, each new image was treated with the same amount of care and attention to detail as any other composition. Throughout the changing content and props of the scenes, the lighting was meticulously adjusted to maintain a consistent non-flickering appearance as well as to provide dramatic effects and reflections.
